The property's staffs who are working in the pool have some of them have had attitude

Good people, marginal to poor hotel

This hotel is a mixed bag. First the great things about this stay. The people are amazing. A shout out to Denise Lewis, Denis Cortez, Maurice Peret,Brittany and Brandon. Also the bar tenders at Sexy Roman restaurant! Great people! However hires for this location does an amazing job! Give these folks a raise! The restaurant has excellent food and service! The pool area is excellent. It is the only place that has any character. The massage I had was good, but construction noise was terrible. The work out center is under construction as well The hotel? It’s a challenge. -I got stuck in elevators twice! I understand needing a room key to go up! But going down? If OSHA visits them they are in deep trouble! -the main reason a person stays in a hotel are the beds. The mattress was horrible, add to that they put a cheap barrier on the mattress, I suspect to protect from bed wetters, but seriously!!! It bunches up and you fight with it all night! -the hotel doesn’t have a personality. Stark! The room hallways are so barren that it reminds me of a Soviet style housing project. -I think they are going for young people, but if a hotel has no personality, they won’t get them either This company is better than this! Come on, get your act together!

Pleasant stay

Very comfortable stay, the staff are exceptional, very helpful and attentive. The hotel itself was going through some minor works but didn’t cause to much of a problem. The rooms are fairly well equipped and a good size. Couple of negatives were there weren’t many drawers, no shoe horn and the toiletries were lower quality than I’m used to but otherwise the room was good. Wet deck is a nice area, drinks maybe slightly expensive but not unusual for a hotel. Scottsdale itself was a nice clean pleasant place and the hotel is well located for restaurants, bars and shopping.

Good, but not what I expected

Great stay overall, but not quite what I expected from a W property. The brand usually has a stronger sense of character, and this one felt a bit lacking in that regard. One downside was the spa access policy,elite guests aren’t able to use amenities like the sauna without an additional fee. At other W properties around the world, these are often included for high-tier members, so that was a bit disappointing.

Good location, small rooms

Decent hotel walking distance to Old Town. Rooms super small and bed is in middle of room! Trendy hotel that becomes a nightclub at night. Young people partying into the morning in rooms/hall. Rooms not soundproof, you can hear everything. Skip this place if you actually want to sleep

Dried roaches in the “welcome lounge”. Very welcoming… the shop is very cute, cute things but couldn’t find anyone to help. The front desk team was very kind. The new restaurant Roman is very over priced for frozen foods. DoorDash or walk down the strip. Chaotic at all times. Drunk people everywhere, loud music everywhere, seemed very very trashy. Prostitution going down at the pool. You can’t sleep at night due to the clubs going on all night. Tried to go to the spa after being kept up all night by the clubs. Only amenity is the shower. Showers smell like pee. Roaches in the locker rooms. My massage was interrupted multiple times since they don’t have white noise machines in the halls and you can hear everything in the hall way. The nail stations are out in the open so you get no privacy during pedicures. Drunk people coming in and out of the side door, the receptionist talking about the staff and shopping is very upsetting when spending so much to relax. When bringing up the roaches the receptionist just laughed. The receptionists seem very immature and unprofessional. The pool is very creepy. There’s a giant mirror down to the driving port so everyone can look up at you in the pool and the pool isn’t deep enough to swim. Avoid the hotel, avoid the spa, avoid the restaurants. Poorly built, poorly managed, poorly run, poorly marketed. Either market to young drunk people or to business men but the two don’t mesh. This place is trashy and management should be applauded.
