Terrible Food and Biased Service

⭐ 1/5 – Very Disappointing Experience I had a very poor experience at Smugglers Cove Resort, and I would not recommend this place to tourists or anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful day or night. We ordered a Margherita pizza, and it was extremely disappointing. The pizza base tasted old and dry, with visible lumps of flour. It was overly oily, and there were no visible tomatoes or onions, which is unacceptable for a Margherita pizza. The service was pathetic. We had to repeatedly call the waiter just to take our order. Even after the pizza was served, no plates or utensils were provided, and we had to ask for everything ourselves. What made the experience worse was the clear difference in treatment. Other foreign guests were given prompt attention and good service, while we were completely ignored. It felt discriminatory and extremely uncomfortable, as if we were treated poorly because of how we looked or where we came from. Overall, this was a very disappointing and upsetting experience. I strongly advise people not to visit this restaurant, as it can easily ruin what should have been a beautiful outing.

Horrible place. Avoid if possible. Stayed three nights. Rude staff. Unprofessional kitchen and bar staff. Decent rooms. You do not feel welcome here.

On leaving experienced a very rude, intimidating male staff member who stated my friend (female in early 20’s) was unable to leave the property unless with their taxi firm despite having a pre-booked taxi. This was a very intimidating and awful experience due to being confrontational and would not leave us alone. This experience left a bitter taste to the end of the holiday. Would not recommend.

Exceeded My Expectations!

Honestly surprised at how good this place is considering the very cheap price for a dorm bed. I was expecting the worst. Beds were comfy, each bed had individual power sockets, and there’s AC. The restaurant/ bar downstairs serves good food. There’s lots on the menu and prices are reasonable. There’s a good crowd each night, a good mix of locals and fellow travelers staying at Smugglers or at the nearby hotels. It seems to be a popular place to hangout at night, so expect some noise from the bar. The beachfront location is great. It’s close to the airport, and there’s a grocery store nearby (less than 5 minutes away on foot). The staff were all friendly and very helpful. I’d stay here again if i ever need to spend another night in Nadi.
