Great hotel, no beach.

Great resort! Offers many pools to choose from depending on what you are wanting. Party pool, water slides, adult only, secluded and the preferred pool has an amazing view! Plenty of pool chairs, umbrellas and clean towels around the pool areas. Carlos around the pools is fast with food and drink orders, always with a smile! Many different restaurants to choose from with a variety of options. Staff is so friendly. Javier at the Hibachi is great. Puts on a great show and the food is delicious...our favorite! Coco Cafe offeres a great frappe, ice cream, desserts and sandwiches. David our butler helped with any requests we had while I was figuring out the hotel app. Checked in daily to see if we needed anything. The ONLY down side of this hotel is the beach....there is none. We knew beforehand so it was expected, but did think we could at least get into the water. It is almost impossible to even access the water. The water is too shallow to swim and so covered with larger rocks. My husband and I spent 11 days here celebrating our 25th anniversary. We enjoyed the stay and would definitely return!

Nice dreams, not the best

This was a nice stay at Dreams. I’ve stayed in many other Dreams before and this was not my favorite but still had a nice week! I chose this resort because I like the chain and because of the amount of pools and waterslides since I was travelling with kids 6-8yeard and I knew sargasm/seaweed was bad and didn’t plan to do beach anyways. Pros: pools were great, kids club was fantastic, staff was extremely attentive (benefit of being low capacity), the bartenders, pool servers (Antonio is incredible, so nice and all hassle) entertainment team (Fernanda is the best! But they are all great for yoga, pool vball, crazy games, foam party), all hosts and restaurant staff and servers were all great (loved our special 4th of July celebration - they made it a big party)! I loved that this resort also has a nutrition specialist that hosts special events (charcuterie/mocktail making) and games- this really was a unique thing that I haven’t experienced anywhere else. Love that towels are put out in AM and free wifi. Resort was great size and layout. Room was very big and spacious! Coco cafe is the best, great variety and choices throughout the day, they were very nice! Spa is such a delight! We did the hydrotherapy + VIP services and it did not disappoint, love it! Tapanaki was great make sure you sign up. Cons: honestly was underwhelmed with food. Not sure if low capacity made this difference. Menu items weren’t great just okay. Also you can’t be a 5 star and not have any bacon on the resort. I also love dreams because you don’t have to make reservations (except tapanaki) , but strangely they said resos had to be made on app which again annoying when I like dreams for the purpose of no resos.

Raylie the drink waiter was amazing and the best service ever. Very prompt and expeditious. David the manager took amazing care of us.

Fantastic 2 week break in Dreams puerto morelos , hotel is on the smaller size and unfortunately has no beach, but the pleasant, professional staff make up for this, our Butler Miguel was most helpful with all our requirements and provided daily information and meal reservations also helped organise a room move due to aircon leak, he is the perfect Butler, he's friendly and ultra professional, nothing is too much trouble 😀 thanks again Miguel
