2.0If I could give this hotel a rating of "minus 10", I would. It was the dirtiest/smelliest place I have ever stayed. The bed was made with 1 fitted sheet and 1 top sheet only. There were only 2 towels in the bathroom....no bathmat and no hand towels or face towels. If we could have left, we would have but there was nowhere else to go. Listing says that there is a city view but what you are looking out to is a body shop for cars. Also the cost of this hotel is way over priced. We stayed at a different hotel, which was a lot nicer, better area of town and the room was great. Lots of towels, bed was made properly and there was even a breakfast included...and all at a cheaper price. Do yourself a favour and don't stay here.

2.0We were desperate for a place to stay on short notice after we missed our connection and landed in Anchorage at 1:30 am. We needed a place with 24 hour check-in and so selected the Travel Inn. This property should be taken off of Travelocity as the site is a barely functional hotel. The neighborhood is really sketchy and felt unsafe. The clerk opened the wrong room for us, and only after we noticed that there was no bedding did he relocate us to the correct room. There, the fridge stank and didn't function, the outlets were missing switchplates, and the shower was cold. The property was surrounded by chain link fences. At 7:15 we were awoken by street people playing music and talking loudly. No staff was around to speak to in the morning.
