− The front desk when I checked in was very rude. Never once smiled or said hi as we came in

1.0− They tried to charge my credit card the day of arrival at 6am for the whole stay not just deposit. . My bank thought thought it was fraud and froze my card. I immediately tried to call the hotel to change payment method and go ahead and pay over phone and no one wpuld answer. I tried at least 10 times. I received a confirmation email that it was confirmed, after driving 6 hours to hotel we went I. And they had gave our room away. Had no other rooms so we sat in parking lot xalling other hotels til we got a room.
Area not well maintained with small critters around.
5.0The location and the free breakfast option
− We found a roach in our room. Additionally our room had a very strong mildewed smell. When we approached the staff about the roach, we were told they would contact us before we leave about a room change but that roaches were something very common in the area. The WiFi in our room was very very spotty. The bathroom would get WiFi but anything that extends in the bedroom would not. Also the door handle to our bathroom was broken. There were also guests outside that had a boombox with loud music playing. The parking lot was also littered with trash.

− The room felt extremely damp and had a stale, musty smell. The linens were stained, and it was obvious housekeeping hadn’t cleaned thoroughly—there was still soap residue from the previous guest all over the sink counter. The pool was murky and cloudy, making it clear it hadn’t been properly maintained. Considering the price we paid, the overall condition of the property was completely unacceptable and very disappointing.
