The view, the infinity pool and the spa bath in my unit were my highlights

We had a comfortable, enjoyable stay in a room with a great view.

The rooms were clean and comfortable with a great view from the patio. The pool was spacious, cool and also with a good view. We were located a ten minute walk from the supermarket and the main shopping area.

− Just a couple of minor things. We were only given dishwashing detergent for two washes. We were there for the whole week, why can’t we be supplied with a week’s worth of detergent? We are not going to the supermarket to buy ourselves a litre of detergent that we will only use a tiny fraction of. And a couple of the hot drink mugs had those brown stains you get from them being so old. Mugs don’t cost much.

Large apartment and great balconies with marvellous views. Sun hits the balcony a lot of the day so maybe a bit hot in mid summer - but lovely in June. The bedroom is large and the bed is very comfortable. The lounge furniture is quite comfortable and the TV is a large flat screen. Wifi is very good. There is an A/C in both the living and bedroom. the pool area is also without shade but again lovely mid year. The spa was lovely and warm, and the pool looked lovely but the water was a bit too cool for me. You are close to the main street and the port for trips to the Whitsunday islands and reef. Cleanliness looks good on arrival, but needs more effort in the corners. We would stay again.

− Just know there are a lot of stairs to the apartments - we were in apartment no. 8 so minimum of 6 flights from street to the apartment. The lift to the pool area is in addition to your flights of stairs. The road up to Martinique is verrrry steep - their suggestion of taxi or Uber is definitely needed if not very fit. The apartment has poorly maintained oven, dishwasher, and they had to come and stop our sink leaking - maintenance person on the weekend very friendly and prompt. Water pressure quite low but we managed. A few condiments would be helpful. A baking tray for the oven, and jugs for water in fridge would be good too. None of these are deal breakers - just know before you arrive.
