Beautiful property but not properly cleaned
4.0Beautiful property and ocean view. Nice kitchen.
− Dirty sofa bed. The covers weren't washed at all. Food crumbs inside sofa. The non-stick coating on the frying pan is peeling off, so it should be replaced. Old utencils. The BBQ grill appears not to have been cleaned, as it has a thick layer of old ash inside. The new was too high so my elderly mother couldn't sleep on it. She had to use sofa bed.

We had a wonderful time at the Painted Boat Resort and will return.
8.0Beautiful spacious 2 BR condo but no AC. Quite warm in the condo unless all the windows and fans were on. We went in May. Lovely infinity pool and hot tub. Good exercise room. The best west-facing view from our unit of the harbour and boats. Except for the complaints below, the property overall was quiet and private.
− Our unit (#18) had the restaurant right in front and there was a fan exhaust on the roof of the building. This fan was noisy, and had a food odour and smoke coming out of it during restaurant hours (5-9 Tuesday to Saturday). When we sat on our balcony to have our dinner, this was very unpleasant. Also the roof of this and one other nearby building had moss all over it and was an eye-sore. The other issue you can get anywhere. There was noise of children running in the unit above us. We did complaint to the staff (that are only available in person during the day) and they spoke with the guests in that unit. The noise did decrease a bit after that.

3.0The facilities were great
− Well, I am usually not that picky but I have a list: 1. The service received during arrival wasn't the best, the staff seemed annoyed for some reason 2. I asked for a nice villa and was told the my villa is quite nice. The place was smelling was quite dark and some of the cutlery and tools were damaged like the frie pan, was full of scratches. 3. Pictures for my villa showed a corner unit whit high cielings, but I got a dungeon, dark, smelly and super hot. 4. Heat was unbearable, the thermostat didn't work, and was remotely set up by the reception who didn't return my calls..I had to sleep with the doors open to cool it down, it was a sauna inside. When I called I was told that it's my fault and that kids played with it which was not true, the technician later came and confirmed the thermostat was malfunction 5. There were remotes missing 6. Cleaning tools were limited, like scrubbing and detergent for the washing machine 7. Overall staff was annoyed, said hi to ppl but I got the look back and an annoyed hi
