6.0We arrived right as it got dark. Check in went quick. We stayed here one night to avoid too much driving in one day. We stayed in a little cabin back in the woods. The sliding doors in the room didn’t completely close and it felt like we had a lot of bugs visiting us. Many ants on the floor, woke up to a scorpion in the sink. That said, we are in Costa Rica and some of that is to be expected and we are okay with that. I think next time we need to stay in Liberia and a place with more people around. I was nervous the whole night and didn’t sleep well. The main door did lock. It was the sliding door that made me nervous. I did get a fruit plate and gallo pinto and both were delicious:) we arrived at 6pm and checked out by 8am so we didn’t spend much time looking around. Breakfast was $9 each, so reasonable, but I misunderstood and thought it was a buffet and it wasn’t so that was my fault. Overall, although the staff was nice, we most likely won’t be back.

10.0This place is a hidden gym. Beautiful property, nice and quiet, nice room rooms. Right next to the river for Whitewater rafting pick up and next to the animal rescue. The animal rescue is an awesome place also with pumas, Jaguars, macaws and much more, all for a good cause rehabilitating animals.
