Top notch staff
10.0This hotel deserves a 5* review because of the amazing staff and the extraordinary lengths they go to make their guests happy. Today as I was sitting on the plane about to depart Niamey, I noticed the flight attendant walking the aisles asking everyone if the pair of glasses in her hand belonged to any passenger. I stop her and discover that she has a pair of my reading glasses with a note attached with my hotel room number. Turns out I had left the glasses in my room and one of the hotel staff drove to the airport and ensured that they found their way onto my flight! This is incredible kindness and service and would NEVER happen in my home country of Canada, Kudos to the staff at Hotel Tenere. If you are also wondering, AC worked well in my room and the sheets were very clean. Merci, Merci Merci
Nice old hotel
6.0Visited in October 2019, stayed two nights. Hotel is clean with good security, close to the Grand Marches. Service is good, people very helpful, hotel being old need maintenance and upgrade. On arrival very first night we found cockroaches roaming around in the room, on request for spraying the room, it was spread and cleaned again and we did not see any more cockroaches. Overall hotel is fine for the price.

6.0The staff was very good, rooms are clean and the reception is warm. Things to be improved:, there are some havy works in the building, even at night till 4 oclock morning. Construction dust in corridors whole day. Only 3 menu available in the restaurant. The room TV did not work well.

2.0This hotel is AWFUL. The sheets on the bed were dirty, there was no towel in the bathroom when I arrived and the light in the bathroom didn’t work. I arrived a 4am so had to stay but left the next day. Other guests also checked out early.
