− Hotel has a bit of a formal ambience for leisure travel. Works very well, but clearly focused on business travel.

10.0I had such a great stay. The staff were kind and helpful. The hotel and my room were clean and my bed was so comfortable. I love the historical charm mixed with new features that were modern but tasteful. The location is perfectly central to walk 10min to the Capital Building and California Mueseum and 20 min to Old Sacramento. Highly recommend the attached restaurant Grange. Food was delicious and all of their staff were kind too! Love that they provide a late night room service menu.
− Just a heads up, depending on the side of the building your room is on you may hear the one-off loud music from cars driving by. Also, this is more for all of the hotels in downtown, but I wish the parking was slightly less expensive. Tip: park your own car in the garage across the street for a $30 day rate vs $50. If a Marriott member the valet may be complimentary.
