8.0(1) We were disappointed with the airport pick-up service we booked several weeks in advance, which never materialised, especially as we had been travelling internationally for the preceeding 3 days. Thankfully a local taxi person helped us out - we hope he was paid what we were charged. (2) We recommend Serena offers an 'all inclusive' option. Half board is quite outdated, given so many Kenyan coastal hotels are now all inclusive. All inclusive means the customer pays in advance, removing the worry of what the final bill is for the customer, as well as assuring the hotel will get it's money. (3) For what customers are paying, the hotel really needs to be on top of maintenance eg eroded shower hinges; cracked tiles; mould on the verandah, etc. After all that, we had a lovely time!
