Old tired inn that is not memorable
3.0Good location
− Outrageous price for a battered old inn with little charm and lots of amateur repair work. DIsinterested staff and very poor breakfast.
Wonderful!!!
9.0Location, cleanliness, history and (again) location.
− Heard every footstep in the hallway.
Clean room but won't be staying again.
6.0Our room itself was clean and it was very convenient for walking to different places. A parking spot also came with the location.
− I am a light sleeper and find it difficult to fall asleep if there is noise. The walls are very thin and the doors in the shared hallways were constantly being slammed. We had a main level room and you can hear every little noise from the neighbors above. The only time I saw a worker was at check in. The place didn't seem to be monitored regularly by staff. Also when we arrived, the only window was closed and the fan that is provided read that it was 86 degrees in the room. It took more than 8 hours to get the room to cool down even with us placing the fan in the window. Not sure why windows would be closed knowing a guest is checking in. We were unable to spend any immediate time in the room as it was an oven. The price is also very overpriced for what is received. Will not be staying again. Highly recommend staying in Astoria vs the Seaside area.

6.0The location was excellent—you can walk to the beach, to Finland, restaurants, the promenade and shops. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was good. The price was very competitive.
− The floorboards creaked, we could hear guests walking above us sometimes, and the TV was difficult to use.
A pleasant stay on historic house, just off the beach.
8.0fantastic location to beach and promenade. Easy to park. Friendly staff.
− the weak point of the stay is the breakfast. Very basic like you would get in any chain hotel and minimal staff on hand if you need assistance with something.
Great location for us, easy access to car and beach.
8.0The room was fine but small. I would probably opt for a bigger room in the future. Parking was nice and close. The beach where the event we were attending was close. The breakfast was fine, better than some places. I love the sitting area in the library, it was lovely to sit and read a book there in the evening.
− The mattress was quite soft, seemed worn out. The blankets also seemed rather old and tired.
