A fabulous hotel in the perfect location for visitors to Bath and Bristol.

10.0

Very comfortable bed, nice to have a fan in the room. Breakfast was perfect both days and the waitress was delightful.

The shower cubicle was showing its age and could have been cleaner.

Nice but could be better.

7.0

- Parking. - Breakfast included thanks to my Genius rewards. - Powerful shower. - Brilliant sized room. - Great sized bathroom and shower. - Nice to have a bedroom and bathroom window. - Nice large towels. - Nice tea tray and kettle but the tea bags looked old and there was only 1 pack of biscuits. - Good storage and 2 hair dryers!? Nice area to put on make-up but no full length mirror. - Beautiful curtains! 2 chairs as well which is a nice touch. - Fresh milk on the fridge downstairs and a note in the hallway offering it to guests. Nice touch!

- Bathroom cleanliness wasn't great. Especially around the shower. Shower head full of lime scale/mould. Tiles dirty. Buttons in the shower had built up grime. - No hand towels, they were actually floor mats. Either they or they were really thick hand towels and we didn't get a floor mat for the shower. - Damage in the bathroom. - A sign telling us to not waste water but then the taps in the sink are push operated and run for too long! Very hard to pull back up. - Staff were borderline rude, especially the young girl with dark hair. Orders were wrong due to her lack of listening. When she took our breakfast order, she asked if we wanted anything removed. We asked to swap the tomato for a hash brown and she wanted to charge us. Not logical or kind! It was a swap, not an extra. - The communal bathroom by the restaurant hadn't been cleaned and was overflowing with tissue upon arrival and after breakfast. - The outside seating area and garden are somewhat tired looking. - Beds are very soft and there wasn't a mattress protector, just a topper. - Damp in the bedroom resulting in paper peeling off. Not good for breathing quality. - The right sliding door as you look at the shower was off the runners at the bottom resulting in doors not closing and water escaping. This should have been noticed when cleaning the room before our stay and it should have been fixed. - Rusty, dirty radiator in the bathroom. - Towel rail loose, rusty and in a poor choice of location due to height and hanging over the shelf!
