Detta var tyvärr inget bra hotell. Skitigt både inne och ute. Otroligt hårda sängar, och sliten interiör. Hundar börjar skälla kl 05 på morgonen. Lyhört. Luktar unket i rummet. Man skulle duscha i ett stort badkar på rummet men duschstrålen var så dålig att det gick inte att duscha. Poolen utomhus var avstängd så det gick inte att bada.

Late Check In

I emailed the property that we will be running late for check in at 10:30 pm July 29. They said yes, we can open you after 10:30 pm just ring the bell and we'll open you in 5 minutes. After driving 15 hours from Milan, and going through hell of a traffic delays caused by accidents and brush fires, we arrived 1 am. We knocked on the gate and called the property phone and somebody named Gaia Alia answered and said, I cannot let you in because I'm in the hospital. Because of that, we have to drive around at 1 am to find another hotel. What a really really bad experience.

Our group of six had three rooms at this property and also had dinner at its fabulous restaurant. The proprietor, Joseph, was the highlight of our experience. He was welcoming and made us feel like we were in his home. We enjoyed a beverage in the hotel lounge and the homemade breakfast cakes and cookies with our expresso and cappechino in the morning. The dinner and the hotel were a nice break on our drive from Positano to Sicily.

We Felt Like Family

We stayed at the Alia Jazz Hotel for just one night on our way to Sicily. It is a very quaint single story facility. Each room is comfortable and unique. We were greeted by our very cordial host, Joseph. We started out with beers and wine as we settled in. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. Breakfast was a very large assortment of pastries, as well as juice and teas. Joseph had an assortment of coffees and my friends all said it was the best cappuccino they had ever had. A great time plus the restaurant, Gaetano Alia, was outstanding. That will be a separate review.

Da consigliare per simpatia e cortesia del personale. Camere accoglienti che danno sul giardino curato. Ristorante molto buono e personale competente. Siamo stati molto bene ci torneremo.

Welcoming stylish place in a wonderful garden

In the wonderful garden you find the blocks with the rooms around a central lawn with with sunshades and deckchairs to relax. An artist has decorated walls inside and outside the buildings with beautiful modern paintings. The rooms are nicely decorated, well illuminated and perfectly clean. All you need is provided. The mosquito nets at the windows make it possible to sleep with open windows. The people are very friendly and welcoming. A special highlight is the wonderful breakfast prepared by Antonella. We enjoyed fresh homemade delicious cakes and perfect homemade jams of different citrus fruits (some varieties that you may not even have heard of yet) and other fruits and berries. Accompanied by a wonderful cappuccino. Definitely a place to come again.
