− No toilet paper and had to ask for milk to make hot drinks. The sink area in the bathroom could have been cleaner
Lovely hotel
10.0Beautiful place with welcoming staff. The hotel rooms were clean, tidy and well furnished. The breakfast was also varied with vegetarian options and tasty.
− I stayed on the top floor, which was partly in the roof space, I think. The doorways there can be low for six footers. There are signs, but you can still catch your head if you are not aware. Maybe ask about a different floor. There was a kettle and some biscuits, but no tea or coffee.
Good Lake District stay
8.0Very pleasant and helpful staff. Good cooked breakfasts. Varied menu for evening meals although some people may find dogs in restaurant offputting. We did not and were very happy overall. Would stay there again.
− Bedroom could be better as nowhere for clothes, although they did provide a temporary affair.

10.0breakfast lunch and evening meal were exeptional, the location is beautiful and peaceful,and the room was to a very high standard of comfort and cleanliness. all staff were very freindly and helpful
