Convenient for the Scillonian Ferry, well situated in the town.
8.0Very welcoming on reception, central location, large car park conveniently near. Quite room. It was a brief overnight stay before we caught the ferry to Scillies.

7.0Good location for catching an early ferry. Central position for bars and restaurants.
− Our room was unbelievably stuffy and noisy. A fan had been placed in the room but this barely made a difference. The window looked over an enclosed outdoor space used as the pub garden so will always be noisy. The staff were very polite, they explained we couldn’t move room as the hotel was full. They asked the drinkers in the garden to keep quiet, which they did for a short while. A combination of the noise and heat meant we got very little sleep.

Comfy bed but food was bad
7.0Excellent location, beside the train station and next to the restaurants. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Staff was really nice.
− Food - breakfast and dinner. It was bad, straight out of the freezer and the microwave. And expensive. Find another place to eat.

− Quite hot in the room (but we were having a heatwave at the time) and fan provided to cool us down. So all good.
