Good but something is lacking
8.0My room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. I had a good night's sleep. The location is very convenient.
− I think gluten free provision could be improved. I gave several days notice of my requirements but there was no gluten free breakfast cereals and no gluten free biscuits in the room. Overall, although efficient, I felt there was a friendliness and warmth lacking.

Beautiful setting and hotel and a great night’s sleep with lovely staff.
10.0Beautiful historic building, lovingly kept true to its roots. Spacious, clean rooms with one of the comfiest beds I’ve slept in and a lovely range of items at breakfast. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
− It would have been nice to have a curtain or door in the family room (room 3) to separate the child’s sleeping area off.

3.0Great location. The lady at breakfast was friendly and cheerful.
− The receptionist was too busy on her mobile and was extremely uninterested in booking us in. Flower beds outside hadn't seen any attention in years. Very old fashioned decor.
