8.0We have stayed before as it's a great Exmoor location and very convenient, staff are great and the bar and restaurant serve good food and drinks. Tech could use maintenance/upgrades: both Tesla EV chargers didn't work and constant Wifi connection errors in our room and around the property.

An historic base for exploring Exmoor.
10.0An old coaching inn nestling in the Exe valley with lots of atmosphere. Great restaurant with excellent and personal service. Climb out of the valley onto Exmoor and explore moor and coast at the same time.

8.0Great location for hiking the area. Friendly, helpful staff. Booked a ‘luxury’ room which was a decent size but not sure that it could be described as luxury! Perfectly fine otherwise. Decent choice of food and drink. Outside seating (beer garden) beside the river.
