We really loved this hotel. I would put it on par with another favourite hotel of ours which is the one & only in Mauritius- this however is a cheaper option but the standard is equally great. We had a few hiccups but the hotel dealt with everything so swiftly and professionally (for example, we lost power due to a storm and we were really impressed by the way they dealt with it). The pools are top class. The food at seafire salt really impressed us, the half board allows you to have fillet steak every night if you wish and the standard of the food is very high. We spoke with the head chef, Iain, on numerous occasions and he’s clearly a very experienced chef (including ex-Gleneagles) - it shows in his food. After eating buratta and steak and chocolate fondant on repeat I’ve come home considerably heavier but very happy !! If you’re unsure about rooms I recommend the beach villas, they’re very modern and luxurious. The kids club is also very new with friendly staff and a good array of toys and activities. Our kids really loved it. We have travelled widely and we really highly rated this holiday experience. Can’t wait to visit again someday. Thanks to the team at Anantara Mai Khao for creating a really memorable holiday for us.

Amazing weekend @anantaramaikhao I called The Luxury of Maikhao Tropical villa style, Hugh room spaces 300 smq Cycling around for my morning and feels the breeze✨️ Thanks to MR General manager Khun Ser, khun Poy villa host, khun Vam and chef Nut or warm welcome at my everyday breakfasts- always special menu each day! Khun Aeed bellman my Rimowa was 35kg 🙏 And the last that I love the most Uncle Kluay who's taking care of the most amazing welcome at the gate Inspired me of how royalty to the brand of 30 years of service ✨️ See you soon We love #minorhotels @anantaramaikhao

Wonderful Honeymoon experience!

Wonderful staycation experience, JU is very friendly and always give us warmest advice! The room is very spacious with a big pool; restaurants here are also nice, strongly recommend Treehouse (Japanese) and the La Sala (Thai and Indian) restaurants. The hotel is also pet friendly;)

Perfect Stay

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Anantara Mai Khao. The resort is beautiful, but what truly made our trip unforgettable was the service. A huge and special thank you to Ju! Ju was incredibly attentive and welcoming throughout our entire stay. From check-in to check-out, every little detail was taken care of with a warm smile. Ju made us feel truly at home and stress-free. Highly recommend this resort!

A truly exceptional experience

We spent a wonderful three days celebrating our wedding anniversary in a pool villa at Anantara in Phuket, and the experience truly exceeded our expectations, and everybody made us feel very special. From the moment we arrived and were welcomed by our host, Nina, the level of hospitality was exceptional. The setting is stunning, the lush gardens feel like a botanical garden, beautifully maintained and more impressive than many we have seen around the world. The sense of privacy and tranquility at our villa throughout the property made it easy to fully relax. We also booked a spa package and spent about four hours there, which was one of the best spa experiences we’ve ever had. Our therapists, Oil and Catchy took excellent care of us, and we left feeling completely rejuvenated. Overall, it was an outstanding stay, and we would gladly return.
