9.0All staff were excellent, food and drink was good with a good choice. Room was comfortable, location perfect.
− Decor looking a little tired, but it's an old building and can be forgiven.

8.0It’s in an extremely convenient spot right in the middle of the village, which is beautiful. It’s near the supermarket too. The rooms were functional with a very good shower. We have been before and we will go again. The photos are from the river test nearby
− It’s next to the pub so some might not like that the music can be quite loud but not too late. It didn’t bother me.
Exceptional stay, superb value for money
10.0From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a very warm welcome and this continued throughout the whole of our stay. The staff were super friendly unhelpful. The room was great and exceptional value for money, even having an outside balcony area which was a nice surprise. We stayed for dinner which was very very good and the portions were large. A good selection of beers too. We have the full English breakfast in the morning which was exceptional. We would definitely stay there again when we are in that area!

We really loved our stay and will be back and hopefully the weather will be a bit cooler!
7.0Staff were brilliant, very friendly. Breakfast (extra) was great, the rooms were really nice and roomy, huge bathroom.
− We did go in a heatwave but the room was unbearably hot, only a small fan to help with this which blew hot air around. The window would only open a few inches which I understand would be for safety but didn't help. I understand this is an unusual occurrence in England with temps up to 30 degrees! The shower looked great but only had really hot water almost unbearably hot to shower in, couldn't get the temp down we had two rooms and they were both the same.
