Good accommodation in a lovely setting, with good food,and fairly priced. What more could you want?
10.0Lovely quiet, peaceful countryside location. Friendly staff. Straightforward, tasty food. Added bonus of efficient air conditioning in my room.
− Nothing (except, being fairly tall, an adjustable-height shower head would have been useful!).

9.0It's a great stop off for Highclere, food was good, staff were friendly, great atmosphere for a country pub on a Wednesday night and great value for money considering the facilities, all the usual stuff but room was huge good size bed and air conditioning in middle of a heatwave was a god send.

10.0Logement très bien situé pour aller visiter Highclere castle. Personnel très gentil et flexibilité pour le régime sans lactose et pour stocker nos vélos durant la nuit. Logement très propre et petit déjeuner bien complet. Nous espérons revenir un jour ! Merci beaucoup pour votre accueil.

9.0Lovely place to stop, food good, staff helpful and nice atmosphere in the pub
− Being an older property and being on the ground floor there was some noise from the floorboards of the upstairs room but it didn’t disturb me sleeping
