Nice clean rooms, comfortable bed and pillows. Location was good for us also.

− When checking out at 6am Tuesday, July 14 morning no one was at front desk, rang bell like 10 minutes. We were trying to checkout after waiting was told it was emailed. Also, coffee was saying Starbucks and actually it was too watered down to be Starbucks coffee. Also, please place a stopper in the bathroom in the rooms. When door is open it hits against the shower shelf and makes a very loud noise

− During our stay the people in the adjoining room started to argue right before 5am and woke us up. After about 45 minutes my husband got up left the room and went to the front desk to complain. The staff came up to hear for themselves and then went back downstairs and I am assuming called the room since I heard the phone in that room ring. The arguing continued for about another 10-15 minutes before it stopped. Needless to say we were tired the next day and i have never experienced this behavior when staying at the Marriott hotels.

The staff was confused about building issues.

− The pool was closed due to maintenance. But this was not posted on the third party website that I booked through. When I spoke to the front desk about the pool they said it was closed at the managers discretion. I spoke to the general manager and she said that it was being inspected and there was no set time or day when it will reopen. I booked this hotel specifically for the pool. Nothing was offered for my inconvenience.

Courtyard by Marriott Waldorf MD room 320 was the worst say Oct. 2025, I had no Heat or AC .The unit when it came on burn the dust and was smoking and may have caught on fire while I was sleeping my Fox fur leather jacket had burn smelling dust on it and smelled like the smell of the heat/ac unit i call the front desk and a hour later the maintenance guy I guess came and looked at it said they been having problems with the units he don't think it could be fixed because it looked burnt up from all the dirt and dust in it and will let the front desk know and i should get another room and before that happen I extended my stay but had to check out early because I was having a bad headache and chest pains from inhaling a smoke field room that night I hung some of my clothes out side on the balcony after i cleaned and shook off the debris that was on my jacket and clothes and left my door open to get some fresh air no else came to replace or fix the unit I am off and leaving and no one else will be here until Monday the front desk person said they would discount my stay and apologize for the inconvenient stay after I checked out, also the only water to drink was from the tap so I got charged $50 for snacks and food at the front desk they charge my NFC card before I treated the front desk to to chicken from Foster Grille because she said she was hungry. My other complaints was shades and cash money I left under the mattress while I was gone when I came back from the MGM and my belongings was disturbed like someone got in my room while I was out. This is no way to treat a customer for a $270 a night room, this is why I checked out early.

The customer service was excellent from the receptionist. She assisted us throughout the process along with attempting to cancel a reservation. As the facility didn't have the available room.
