Comfortable Stay in a Classic Historic Hotel
6.0Hotel Julien Dubuque offers a nice blend of historic character and modern comfort. While the building has clearly seen many years of use, it has retained its charm and provides a pleasant place to stay. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the hotel is located in a quiet part of downtown, making it easy to relax after a day out. The service staff was especially attentive and helpful throughout my stay, which stood out as a highlight. My only criticism is that, outside of the service team, interactions with the rest of the staff felt somewhat transactional. Everyone was professional and courteous, but the overall hospitality lacked the warmth and welcoming atmosphere that can make a stay memorable. Overall, I would recommend Hotel Julien Dubuque, particularly if you appreciate historic hotels and are looking for a clean, quiet place to stay in a convenient downtown location.
