9.0The ambiance, the staff,the breakfast and location.
− 3rd floor two room suite in what was once the attic with low slanting ceilings! With lots of stairs. Hard on wife because of two replaced knees. Bed was very high off the floor with hard wood surrounding the mattress and was hard to get in and out of for two short people😂
I wish there was contactless check-in.
5.0The property was very well kept and definitely is a unique stay.
− Unfortunately, at check-in, the staff who welcomed us in, couldn’t stop himself from sharing his political standpoint from the start. Like his shirt wasn’t clear enough (he was wearing a Charlie Kirk shirt on), unsolicitedly, he gave us a long 30min rant about what’s right and wrong in the country. If you are not a Trump supporter, this could have been triggering. I felt absolutely uncomfortable from that point on. The US is divided enough to have to walk on eggshells during vacation too.
A colonial property to be enjoyed!

9.0Breakfast was great. Coffee available early and to-go cups to take back to room. The bananas Foster French toast was marvelous. Serve was quick.
− Room was cozy and colonial in flavor but small. Only one chair, one stand for luggage, and no writing table.
Step back in time to where our four father’s vacationed!
10.0I truly felt like I was in president Lincoln’s personal space! So beautiful! The morning breakfast was beautiful amongst people from different backgrounds with some connection historical to the land. How our lives somehow intertwined or dissected in the same areas on different time lines! A comforting experience in the presence of great host and hostess! Exquisite breakfast accommodations as well with the stay! I loved it and we will be back! I can’t give all the details because you need to see this place!
− There was nothing I didn’t like about the accommodations! The rooms were spacious and even though located off a main road, rooms were completely silent!!!
