9.0Very easy to reach from the airport (direct bus). Beautiful entrance with fragrant jasmine. Very unique room. Great breakfast selection and coffee. The bed was also very comfortable. No airport noise as advertised!
− It was the hottest week this summer and the room had really heated up due to not having aircon. But I guess any other day this wouldn’t have been a problem.

3.0The location is ideal to get to Stanstead Airport. The biscuits were in date. The cups for the tea looked clean. The white linen throw on the end of the bed was beautiful. The bed linens were clean.
− Almost everything. Hear me out. The moment we walked into the room, there was debris on the floor and all of the under carpets were stained. The decor was very tired and so out of place. There were crumbs in the dresser drawers. The wardrobe was broken and had wonky hangers and some kind of linen tossed inside. The fridge was dirty inside. The shower head is hanging from the ceiling. The shower door is awkward to close, the seat had fabric which not inly had debris on it, but was also stained. The divan base for the bed was knackered. The duvet itself was stained. The sink lever wasn’t easy to maneuver and needs descaling. There is an incredibly weird (and unsafe looking) light strung on the ceiling over the bed. And to top it off, there must be some kind of shared facilities or we were just incredibly unlucky as I couldn’t go to sleep due to the opening and loud closing of the doors. Click, click, bang, bang for hours on end. I have absolutely no idea how this place has so many good reviews. We’ve stayed in old B&Bs before so we’re used to quirks, but this was just grim. Never again. I’d rather pay double and know I’m in a cleaner, more comfortable room.
