A had a excellent stay at Ashwood Grange and would stay again on another trip to Torquay.
10.0I received a warm welcome from Clare on my arrival. She was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I stayed during a recent heatwave. The room faced roughly north and stayed cool the whole day. A desk fan was provided that added to my comfort levels. The double bed was comfortable and I slept well. The room had plenty of storage and hanging space. A comfortable chair to sit and relax. I really enjoyed the breakfast which set me up well for a day's walking. The guest lounge and dining room were light and airy with views over the attractive garden and Torquay beyond. There was ample car parking on-site with on street parking also available. There are bus stops nearby and Torre train station a few minutes walk away.
