A superb stay in a friendly and spotlessly clean family run B & B; RECOMMENDED.
9.0The welcome from our host Tina was lovely she is so friendly and hospitable and the B & B really feels like a home away from home because of her friendly, chatty personality. She is so attentive and asked all the guests everyday if everything was OK with their room and if they needed anything; the personal touch really makes a stay here very special. The location is ideal just a few minutes walk from the cliff top overlooking South Bay where you can walk down a winding pathway onto the sea front. The main town centre with pubs and restaurants is about a 15 min stroll downhill. Our room was on the top floor and was very clean and cozy, it had a wardrobe and an excellent wall mounted flat screen TV we had a kettle, tea and coffee plus complementary biscuits which was nice. We also had a fan in the room which was much needed as we visited during a summer heatwave. We enjoyed a lovely full English cooked breakfast each morning served to us by Tina and we enjoyed the overall friendly atmosphere of the breakfast room as guests chatted to each other.
− There is nothing not to like about Powys Lodge it is a lovely place to stay. We just could have done with a bigger room as we stayed for 6 nights and we had a lot of luggage with us, if we stay again we will make sure we book one of the rooms on the first floor which Tina showed us before we checked out and they were superb.

10.0The host Tina was so lovely and friendly , breakfast was always piping hot . Room was really clean on arrival and smelt nice and fresh It was easy to find and was approximately a 15 minute walk from the train station, plenty of buses and taxis if you don’t want to walk .
