9.0The Fujiya Hotel is a truly unique and historic property with an atmosphere reminiscent of The Grand Budapest Hotel:) Staying here feels like stepping back in time, and the beautiful architecture and gardens make it a memorable experience. The location is great for exploring the area, and the onsen was absolutely outstanding - one of the highlights of our stay. The traditional Japanese breakfast was amazing - the best I have ever had. One member of staff was especially kind and gave us excellent recommendations for the area. We also appreciated the convenient shuttle service and the beautiful view from our room.
− The hotel has a charming old-world character, although some areas would benefit from refurbishment and modernization. The indoor swimming pool feels rather dated, and we were disappointed that the outdoor pool was closed without prior notice. We also found the Western breakfast less impressive than the Japanese one. While the service was always professional, some interactions felt a little formal and less warm than we had experienced elsewhere in Japan.

9.0Wonderful experience at the Fujiya Hotel. The buildings are charming, the staff are lovely and our room was well appointed, comfortable and clean. The gardens are lovely and the mountain views from the onsen are spectacular

10.0つねにゆきとどいた気配りをしていただいて、ホテル滞在時間を満喫いたしました。あの建築とその空間を維持するのは並大抵のことではないと思いますが、従業員の方々のホテルへの思いがわかるような接客にいつも心洗われます。

− Dommage que la piscine extérieure ne soit pas ouverte en plein été Nous étions venus pour ça et elle était fermée On nous a dit « out of control » La salle de sport est une petite salle de cardio Un banc de musculation et quelques poids seraient les bienvenus
Even with the uncomfortable bed situation I would highly recommend this property. The service and ambiance were a 10/

− Beds were like a floor board. They even remade mine with extra padding but it was still extremely hard.
