Lovely stay in Rome - would stay again.
9.0I enjoyed our room at Hotel Aventino but was surprised that our room opened directly onto the courtyard and only had one window. The room was nice enough and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was really nice. The neighbourhood is beautiful. Lots of good and less touristy restaurants nearby.
− I can't say I have any complaints. The neighbourhood is beautiful. It is quiet and feels very safe. It is fairly close to the main sights if you are up for walking. It took us about 30 minutes to The Pantheon. I was slightly surprised in that the hotel didn't look how I had imagined from the photos - not necessarily in a bad but different and perhaps not quite as elegant.
Oase van rust in een overigens zeer drukke stad
8.0Hotel Aventino is een prima keuze als je na een dag in de stad behoefte hebt aan rust. Het hotel ligt in een stille, residentiële wijk op de Aventijn-heuvel, wat betekent dat je weinig meekrijgt van het drukke stadsverkeer. Toch wandel je in een kwartier naar het Circus Maximus of de metro. En het beroemde ‘sleutelgat van Rome’ ligt, net als het Parco degli Aranci, bijna letterlijk om de hoek. Verder heeft het een klassieke uitstraling en beschikt over een fijne binnentuin waar je bij goed weer kunt ontbijten. Onze kamer was functioneel, netjes en schoon. Wel aan de wat kleine kant en meer kastruimte mag. Het personeel is vriendelijk en helpt je graag op weg met tips voor de omgeving. Kortom, een degelijk en comfortabel hotel voor wie de voorkeur geeft aan een rustige locatie boven een verblijf midden in het toeristische centrum.

− Expérience très décevante – Manque de compréhension et de sens commercial J'ai malheureusement effectué une réservation avec une erreur involontaire sur la date du séjour. Dès que j'ai constaté cette erreur, je me suis personnellement rendu à l'hôtel pour expliquer la situation et demander une annulation. J'ai également entrepris les démarches nécessaires via Booking.com. Malgré ma bonne foi et mes deux tentatives de résolution à l'amiable, l'établissement a catégoriquement refusé tout remboursement, conservant l'intégralité du montant payé alors que je n'ai bénéficié d'aucune prestation. Je comprends que des conditions d'annulation puissent s'appliquer, mais je regrette profondément le manque de flexibilité, de compréhension et de considération envers le client. Une expérience particulièrement regrettable qui témoigne, à mon sens, d'un manque de sens commercial et de souci de la satisfaction client.
