The views from the Hotel are amazing.
10.0We stayed in this hotel some years ago and had lovely memories of it, and have recommended it to friends, and they have stayed here as well. Parking is excellent, and don't be put off by the road up to it. We have seen some very nice cars do the road. You do hope that you don't meet anything whilst you are on it, but there are passing places. The staff in the hotel are amazing and so friendly. The Bar/Restaurant looks out over the bay, and it is just magical on an evening. The hotel is very clean, and could be seen as a bit old fashioned, but it is excellent, don't let that put you off. It is a very clean hotel and is of its time, but you could not ask for anything more.
Beautiful location and property
7.0Location and castle were wonderful. We stayed in a beautiful room with a large bathroom. The access to the town via an elevator in the mountain was amazing, very close to everything.
− Little things in the rooms such as the sink drain and bath drain were partially blocked. The food at breakfast was average and did not live up to the surroundings. This did not discourage us from having a good time but it was a little disappointing.
