The location is excellent, right next to the beach, close to good restaurants and shops. The breakfast was quite good, great variety of choices. The room was clean.

− The room was really small and very old school, the hotel could really use an overall renovation. The air condition was not working well in one room. I have been looking at this hotel from the outside for years and I was really looking forward to our stay there finally, but it was a disappointment unfortunately. On our first day we arrived to the hotel approx 15 mins before the official check-in time, the rooms were not ready and we were basically sent away from the hotel. They didn't even offer us to stay in the lobby and have a coffee there. On our last day we had a late flight. I texted the hotel weeks before our stay, requesting an option to take a shower around 6pm (we left the room at 10am). It was discussed and they promised that we could use the spa facilities for the shower. However, on the day, first they offered us to use the outside shower (we were full of salt, sand and sweat, and we had a 9-year-old child with us - so we really needed a proper shower), then we had to fight with them for almost 30 mins before they finally offered us a room to shower. The manager still called it a "mistake on their end" - he clearly meant that it was a mistake of them to offer the shower option before our arrival. I think it's a great mistake for many hotels that they cannot offer a spare bathroom for those who leave late.
