− Chambre petite Une seule personne peut entrer dans la salle de bain qui inclut les toilettes trop proches du lavabo Il n’y a pas d’ascenseur donc privilégier une chambre proche de la réception si vous avez des bagages.

10.0Merci pour l'accueil réservé par le personnel, souriant, sympathique, attentionné. The Melita coche toutes les cases, c'est un hôtel hors du temps, la décoration est soignée, le personnel aux petits soins, la literie très confortable. De plus, l'établissement est très proche de la gare de Victoria (10 minutes à pieds) et très bien desservi par le métro.
Good location and warm welcome
8.0Warm welcome and homely feel. A bit quirky which we liked enormously. Lovely to have a personal coffee/crossant in the morning. Felt very hospitable.

Not my cup of tea
6.0The location was good and the receptionist in the morning was lovely. The bed was comfy and linen was clean.
− It was outdated and felt shabby - vinyl floors, plastic sinks and shower cubicles, patched wood and paintwork. The person who checked us in was condescending and tutted at me when I didn’t have my passport. I was less than 2 hours from home in my own country so don’t travel with it, but was told “you British don’t realise you should”. There was no mention of needing it in any communication. I really don’t think I was the type of guest they wanted. I was ‘upgraded’ to a family room but didn’t want that - I hate big, crowded rooms but was not asked or given a choice. The room smelled so strongly of cheap fabric conditioner it made me feel awful. My daughter said she saw a pot of washing scent beads on top of the mirror which might explain it. There was a framed notice on the wall of our room letting us know the cost of fixing the air conditioning which would be our responsibility if we used hairsprays and aerosols. All the communication was from the owners perspective, not the customers. I was receiving requests to give a 10/10 review before I even left home to travel. The decor was so outdated and crowded including photos of a scrabble board with words about the hotel on it, and there was also the most bizarre glass vase with some glass chips in it and a single spring of a plastic plant which I assume was supposed to be lavender.
