Cheap and Cheerful, perfect for one night!
7.0The location is fantastic if you are like me and need to be close to St Pancras for an early morning Eurostar. It took me less than 5 minutes to walk from the hotel to the Eurostar queue. It is the same distance to Kings Cross, and Euston is just a further 10 minutes away. The room I stayed in was spotless, every surface was clean, as was all the furniture. The bed frames had some blemishes but I think that can be safely put down to age and wear and tear. The staff were also incredibly friendly and courteous. All that, for the price you'll probably pay, is exceptional!
− My only complaints are that the bed was not very comfortable, I ached a bit in the morning as the mattress didn't have that much depth to it. Comfortable for sitting! Less so for laying. Furthermore, there is no lift as it is an old building so be prepared to lug suitcases up stairs! It is entirely possible that, if you don't need anything from your suitcase for a single night, you may be able to stow it on the ground floor, but you should check with reception. There is also not a lot of sound insulation between the room and the hallway, so I would encourage the hotel manager to maybe put up signs reminding guests to keep the noise down.

Average facilities. Nothing remarkable.
4.0− I had no idea that the bathroom was on the hallway and toilet was up another flight of stairs. I have mobility problems so these issues were unsuitable for me.
