Excellent location, but the room leaves much to be desired.
6.0The location is near the British Museum, Tottenham Court Road, and Euston—offering easy access to the Underground or trains—and is within comfortable walking distance of Oxford Circus.
− The electrical setup in the room is terrible. There is only one power outlet at the head of the bed, and of the two located on the bedside table, only one worked. The wiring is old and has a loose connection, making it impossible to plug in laptops, mobile phones, e-readers, etc.
Budgetfriendly hotel close to British Museum, restaurants and Soho on walking distance
8.0Budgetfriendly, nice breakfast, 5 mins walk to the British Museum and the many nice restaurants and pubs in Fitzrovia. Also 5 mins to Goodge Street & Euston Sq tube stations, but if you fancy a walk it's 15mins to Soho and about 20 to Trafalgar square.
− Our room was at the front side and even at late hours there is still a fair amount of traffic on Gower street. Although there are extra glass panels on the inside of the windows, traffic was still a bit too audible (though we slept fine despite it) Room was a bit small, though we didn't visit London to simply stay at a hotel, so we didn't mind much.
It was perfect for us for the pro of everything we wanted to do and stay was very helpful!

− The bedding could have been updated, but we recognized we were looking for an economical option, so anticipated some tired out furnishings.
