Mid refurb. Wait until it's finished!

− They are in the middle of a refurb. I think it will be great once finished but advise avoiding for a few months Aircon had been ripped out so rooms were suffocatingly hot
A grand place to stay for a night if needed
7.0It was cheap and in the location we needed and free parking
− No aircon on the hottest day alive. the kitchen wasnt open when we arrived and its a little out of the way so we just had supermarket picnic for dinner

7.0Staff were friendly and bed very comfortable.
− Hotel is in the middle of getting renovated which is fair enough, however in my room wallpaper was hanging off the walls and the portable air conditioner wasn't particularly effective given it was very warm overnight when I stayed.

8.0Everything you could ask for in a hotel, lots of parking spaces, friendly staff and clean room
− The restaurant is very expensive and £7.95 for a pint of lager is a joke. The local pub is nearly half the price. Should be a discount for people staying in the hotel.
Very relaxed, enjoyable stay.
10.0Felt very welcoming on arrival. Reception looked very smart. Staff very polite and also welcoming. Great that it’s situated on the main road into Cheltenham. But not a noisy road!! Breakfast excellent staff very helpful. Room was very clean and spacious. Beds comfortable. Bathroom spacious too.
− Unfortunately the air conditioning wasn’t working. Room was very uncomfortable to sleep in. Fan was provided which helped a little! But this was a temporary problem so hopefully not long term!!!
Nice hotel, very few issues
8.0Staff, especially in the restaurant at breakfast very attentive
− Only one disabled parking bay, with approx 70 parking spaces I would have expected a minimum of 4 disabled spaces
