10.0This is a lovely old mansion with beautiful lush green grounds. The rooms have classic furnishings, high ceilings and give you a great feel of period living. It’s walking distance to all attractions. The restaurant serves excellent French cuisine.

8.0The receptionist was welcoming and friendly. The breakfast buffet was not great. They charged 22 euros, but quality was not good. For example, selection was not good and scramble eggs tasted like soggy. Comparing price and food didn’t match. The property was so beautiful!

10.0Beautiful, charming cottage... like stepping back in time. Very romantic. Property grounds are lovely. Buildings are showing their age, but that's part of the charm. Due for renovation in Jan '25. Staff was professional & helpful. Breakfast & dinner at the hotel are pricey.

10.0Very close to the town centre. The room was well appointed spacious and quiet. The hotel facilities were excellent. The reception staff were attentive and always available. The on-site restaurant served excellent food in the evening. There was a swimming pool on-site which was open, although unheated when I was there but that was not a problem at all for me. Checking in and out all easy and convenient.

8.0The rooms and restaurant were excellent, I chose a superior room overlooking the Loire River. 1st floor, The disappointment was the state of the grounds - swimming pool looked neglected, and the gardens and pathways were untidy.

10.0Super happy to stay in this hotel. It is located in the heart of Amboise, right by the Loire river and it is nice, clean and quiet.Beautiful room. Staffs are nice and helpful. The food in the restaurant is well presented and taste great! A very pleasant stay.
