− Disappointing stay – don’t let the photos deceive you! Don’t let the photos deceive you. They may show the actual hotel, but they appear to reflect how it looked when it was first built or renovated, rather than its current condition. We booked two rooms, and unfortunately, neither met our expectations. One room smelled strongly of cooking, while the other had a strong damp smell. The sofa bed sheets were yellow and looked old and well past their best, so we asked for them to be changed. The hotel did re-clean the room for us, but the cleaning left a lot to be desired. It smelled as though they had used a dirty mop, which hardly improved the situation. We were also surprised to be asked for a €200 deposit on arrival, which had not been mentioned to us before our stay. We arrived at around 2 am and honestly did not want to stay. However, finding alternative accommodation at that time was difficult and expensive. We had already paid through Booking.com, and waiting for a refund would not have been an immediate solution, so we felt stuck. On our last day, my son asked for a towel and was told that, because we were checking out that day, they could not provide us with any more towels. This was extremely disappointing and showed a real lack of basic customer service. We normally always check hotel reviews before booking, but for some reason, we didn’t this time. We can only blame ourselves for overlooking that step, and we certainly won’t make the same mistake again. However, the photos can be misleading, and based on our experience, we would strongly recommend checking recent reviews before booking this hotel. I fully expect the hotel to respond with a standard reply defending themselves, as many hotels do when they receive negative reviews. But I’m sharing our genuine experience to warn other travellers. Please don’t just take the hotel’s response or promotional photos at face value.

Good property at a great location

The location is fantastic - very close to the Muntaner train station. You can also walk to Placa de Catalunya. Rooms were clean and the staff was helpful.

− There are lot of random steps at the hotel (at the entrance, few within the rooms) which requires you to lift your suitcases. Check-in experience could be better as it currently requires the guests to do an online check-in including document upload.

L’emplacement

− la propreté très moyenne des sols de la chambre et des sols de l’hôtel en général, ainsi que l’état des équipements de la cuisine dans la chambre , l’odeur des égouts dans la salle de bains, la terrasse sale.
