8.0It was lovely to stay in a French chateau in the Loire Valley. Chateau de L'Aubriere is a characterful and lovingly restored building and as such is naturally a bit quirky. Our room was a little small for the price, although the bathroom and shower were amazing. Be aware if you have mobility problems that if you are on the second floor, there are a lot of stairs. It was great to swim in the pool although it could have been a little cleaner. The breakfast area is cramped but I understand that it is sometimes difficult to repurpose old spaces to modern uses. The staff were lovely, and overall I would definitely recommend a stay.

10.0Wir haben einen Zwischenstopp in diesem traumhaft schönen Chateau eingelegt und waren von Haus, Personal und Umgebung mehr als begeistert. Einer unserer Hunde wurde nachts krank und es wurde umgehend ein Termin in der nahegelegenen Tierklinik für uns vereinbart. Toller Service und absolut zu empfehlen!!!

8.0Mostly good. Bar service was slow at times and unfortunately we could not open our windows because of a bee hive being treated outside. Room was clean, staff friendly and welcoming.
