Clean and cozy apartament, great location, big parking lot nearby, kind and helpful landlords, yummy breakfast. And view from balcony was great!

Lovely place in central Funchal with great hosts

Great value for money. Agostinho and Catarina are lovely hosts, very helpful and attentive. The villa's location in Funchal is perfect, very central. 5-10 minutes walk to restaurants and the Plaza Madeira mall, which contains a supermarket; 15 minutes to the ocean promenade. The room we stayed in is spacious, and so is the bathroom. There is no air conditioner, although we did not need it in December. Note that no shampoo or body lotion are provided, so bring your own. Our room was facing the street and the parking lot, so there was occasional noise at night from cars and loud pedestrians; despite that, we managed to sleep very well. The beds were comfortable. There is a beautiful common terrace outside the room, where you can sit at a table and enjoy magnificent views of the ocean and the surrounding hills. There is no refrigerator or microwave in the room (although you can ask for a kettle and they'll bring you one, with 2 cups); however, in the corridor there is a large communal refrigerator, with plastic containers, each with its room number. You can store your stuff there. Next to it there is a microwave, and a cupboard with dishes and utensils for all guests (there are 12 rooms). Continental breakfast was served from 8 - 10. The same every day: a small bowl of fresh fruit, some pastries, toast, bread, slices of cheese and ham, butter, jam, honey; scrambled eggs on toast / boiled egg / fried egg; water / juice; tea / coffee. And a slice of cake. Note that when you come down to the dining room, the hosts ask you for your choice of cold drink, hot drink and egg, and you'll have to wait about 10 minutes until breakfast is served. In case you need to leave early and cannot have breakfast, you can send a message to the hosts the night before via the Booking.com app, and they will prepare sandwiches and fruit for you and leave it in your room's container in the communal refrigerator.

Jestem pod wrażeniem właścicieli tego pensjonatu. Przemiła para, bardzo uczynna, przyjazna, dyskretna. Polecam z całą pewnością pobyt w nim. Czułam się tam jak u siebie w domu. W centrum miasta, a jednak w miarę cicho i spokojne.
