Amazing little hotel!
10.0My family had a wonderful time at Hotel Maximillian! The rooms are clean, well appointed, and the beds are super comfy. The view out the window is picture perfect of beautiful mountains. The location is quiet, with plenty of parking. The restaurant is excellent! We went into town one night and paid twice as much for dinner, and it wasn't nearly delicious as the meals we had in the hotel restaurant. The best part of the hotel is the staff! Everyone is so nice and helpful-especially the owner Gabi. She took lots of time to help us find the most enjoyable things to do in the area (and there are a LOT of things to do!) We had to leave early for the airport our last day, so Gabi even had the kitchen make us sandwiches for the journey for my family. Just the nicest, most thoughtful people! If you like doing outdoorsy things, this is such an amazing area to vacation! And Hotel Maximilian is the perfect place to stay!

10.0Excellent family run hotel. Owner was lovely. Gave us some great tips for places to visit. Restaurant food was superb. All staff were lovely. The whole place is full of character and charm. Our room was lovely and we had a great view from our balcony. Nice touches such as a blanket on each balcony chair in case it goes chilly. We loved the owner. Never seen anyone work so hard. She spoke to every guest every day. Would visit again and recommend.
