Manager overbooked and charged full for sofa bed
4.0My wife and I booked through Hotels.com at midday, before arriving at 10pm that night. The Manager had prepared the loungeroom for our stay, with no doors and a fold out sofa bed. Obviously we had booked a private room as advertised as available on their website. The location was quite remote so we agreed at stay. The Manager apologised blaming her failure to check the online booking system , but still charged us full price €70 for a fold out bed in a loungeroom. We were woken up early in the AM by the Hosts family with kids, even though they knew we were in the loungeroom as paying guests. We didn't feel like having breakfast, we just wanted to leave.
