10.0The staff were exemplary, they were the highlight of our stay. We dined in the restaurant and both food and service great.

6.0This is pretty basic accommodation with no frills. Everything was done, but to the minimum. ( eg. little butter at breakfast unless more requested, room furniture is adequate but tired). Cleaning staff were friendly and good. Waitresses were competent and pleasant. Breakfast was limited but adequate. Light over basin did not work, curtain was not properly fixed to rail, paintwork to outside windows was flaking badly. Internal paintwork not done to a very high standard. However, everywhere inside was clean and bed was comfortable.

6.0We arrived at 8.20 pm on a Thursday evening to be told the restaurant was closed, so had to drive to nearest town at Wadebridge to get a takeaway. The rooms were incredibly hot as even in the height of summer the radiators were on.
