Excellent, great staff
10.0Great property and great event venue.
− Nothing negative.
Really beautiful place to spend the night
9.0The property is beautiful with large grounds well landscapes lots to see including a swimming pool. Plenty of parking you’re generally able to park very close to your unit. I had dinner in the restaurant. The food was good. Portions were very large. I also had the free breakfast buffet. It was simple and the price was right. Staying at the property also get you admission to the Oregon garden next-door earlier than the Public and later than the Public with a gate code. That is a really nice benefit.
− I thought the price was pretty high considering it’s not high season. It was not full. It was close to $500 with tax for one night.
Nice place, pity about the restaurant.
6.0Staff were without exception charming. Room excellent.Breakfast limited choice but plenty to like.
− The restaurant was a big disappointment. We had the marionberry salad (specifically to try marionberries ) with caramelised pecans and feta. There were no marionberries as ‘kitchen had run out’ pecans were in very small pieces, mean quantity of cheese, only one type of lettuce and a very astringent dressing. Worst of all it was very cold so suspect straight out of a cold fridge. The coconut and panko prawns were not as hot as expected, likely not sent out of the kitchen as quickly as one might like although nice to eat and the fries were very heavily salted. Feels like a kitchen with little love gone into the food.
