A very nice, albeit slightly over priced, hotel with a wonderful staff!
9.0− Old cable TV (or DirecTV, which is the worst!) Please go to a more modern system like Hulu+, YouTube TV, etc...
It was a nice place to return to each night after a busy day with family at 2 family reunions!
10.0Good location for our needs. Great breakfasts - nice variety - great omelets, drink choices, breat products, fruit available all day, clean, quiet and relaxing. Manager and staff were helpful and friendly Missed the pool due to water restrictions, but gym was used and was fine. Enjoyed the outdoor benches and seating area.
Probably skip Childress next trip, rates higher than other stays on trip. Probably AI construction.
7.0Location fine, skipped breakfast. Check in fine, cordial attendant.
− Exhaust fan in bathroom, rattled, noisy, needs replacement. Could be cleaner. I think rooms need refurbishing. Asked for an emailed receipt upon departure, even asked if they had my email address, sure thing. No email yet.
Not returning
1.0− The shower had dark stains in the corners and all along one entire side. It may have been mold, not sure. It had not been properly cleaned for months. This should not happen in a $200+ per night hotel. Nice furnishings are for naught when you can’t feel like you are getting clean in the shower.
We joined are stay and we will be booking every month !!!
