Fine and clean!
8.0Room was fine. Lovely and quiet. View of the carpark, rather than the sea but it was quiet, so no problem. Room was an ok size. Shower didn't have a lot of pressure, but not a big deal. Everything was clean. Didn't sleep well as my pillow was rock hard (no spares in the room..and didn't know it was so bad until I got into bed..). Bed itself was comfy (twin beds) and there was blackout curtains which is a win. Coffee machine in the room and two pods for it. The lift is a pain as if someone doesn't close the metal gate when they get out, it doesn't move. Not brilliant when there are guests of all ages and abilities. Staff were friendly and the lovely bar staff, Eva, put a smile on our faces. If ore the bad reviews. I was concerned as when Britania take over, they often run them into the grounf.. but this is fine!
Perfect for the open air theatre.
10.0The best feature of the Clifton is it’s excellent staff. From initial phone call to booking out, every interaction was pleasant and helpful. Thank you.
− I’d like slightly more expensive mattresses, bed wasn’t uncomfortable, but a bit of luxury would make it better.

− No working fan in room. Minmal plug sockets. Shower not fixed to wall if moved height the whole fixing came out. Smelly corridor to rooms 8-15.

− We were at the back of the hotel, so the view was not good. Room very warm couldn't open window any further so was only open a little bit
