Not what I thought I was getting
6.0− There is no way this is a 4-star hotel! The description on the Booking.com site is completely inflated and misleading. The best thing to say about the hotel is that it is faded glory, with the emphasis on faded. The building is old and its layout would be charming if it were not so ill kempt. The rooms need a makeover: faded paint in the hallways, threadbare carpets and curtains, towels that are fraying and hard; the bed was uncomfortable; there were bugs in the bathroom. There is no parking (unlike what is claimed on the site). The wifi was weak. Only some of it was made up by the excellent location, within minutes of al the historical sites.
