The pool with the slides was awful, mismatched, worn, it felt very itty bitty. Rooms were okay, location was okay. Relax pool was okay.

Fantastic family friendly hotel in Central ao nang

We loved our stay at this family friendly hotel in a Central point in ao nang. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet was good and the kids loved the swimming pool with slides. We highly recommend a swim up room if available! The kids corner was lovely for smaller children - Mimi was amazing! There were plenty of shops nearby and night market a short walk from the hotel. Would highly recommend this hotel and would come back as a family! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Okay hotel with stunning BOY

The hotel was a bit worn but with a good location. The slides were super good. A special thanks to BOY, a fantastic person! Our son will miss everything about BOY. If we come again it will be because of BOY

Family Fun in Krabi: Our Stay at Ananta Burin Resort

Stay Dates: 13 – 16 September 2025 We stayed at Ananta Burin Resort and had a great experience overall! The resort is very kids-friendly — the highlight for us was the pool area with water slides, which kept the children happily entertained. The size of the resort is just right — not too big and not too small — making it easy to manage with kids. We booked connecting rooms for our group of four, which worked perfectly. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped. The only hiccup was on our last day when the whole building had no water supply, so we couldn’t shower before checking out (a funny memory now!). Location: The resort is slightly away from Ao Nang Beach and the main street market, but still accessible. Tuk-tuk rides are easy to get and cost around 100 THB, which was convenient. Massage & Spa: Like most places in Thailand, finding a good massage isn’t an issue — there are plenty of shops next to each other near the hotel, and the massages were great! Overall, I’m happy with our stay and would recommend Ananta Burin Resort to families looking for a kid-friendly, comfortable place in Krabi.

Had to cancel before we got there

Booked two rooms at this hotel and was really looking forward to it. Contacted the hotel a couple of weeks before travelling to confirm our rooms could be adjoined (2 adults, 2 kids) or at least right near each other. The staff said they would attempt to accommodate the request at check-in but couldn't make any commitments. As such, we had to cancel and find a different hotel as the trip is non-refundable by the time we check in. The hotel didn't offer any alternatives or suggestions either. Bizarre.
