Good location, good restaurant
10.0Good, efficient check in, and a really clean comfortable room. The King room had a a good closet with a drawer to pull out containing the coffee machine, with a small fridge under. The TV was good. The bathroom was clean with plenty of clean towels. I used the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner, and both were good with really great service : the breakfast menu was good and the food delicious, and the apple pie at dinner was especially great! You can also order food from your room. The location is south of Winnipeg, not far from the Peripherique/Orbital highway, so it's easy to get to TCH/Route 1 east or west, and to attractions such as Steinbach Mennonite Village, the Canadian Mint, Fort Whyte Alive, it's about a 25 minute drive into downtown/The Forks/Human Rights Museum, and only 5 minutes to the Southwood golf club. For some reason I got an accessible room, and I found the force of the shower a bit strong and there didn't seem like anyway to control this, and you had to be sure to watch the shower curtain or else end up with a soaking bathroom floor. Also, the bed side lights were impossible to reach to turn off from the bed.
