Take ugg boots. Floor is freezing.
7.0Location was perfect for cafes
− Extremely cold floor, take ugg boots Settee was old. Too low for older people Cushion kept slipping off seat Very hard to get out off Take your own pillows for bed. Chair was too low , it was more a patio chair. I would have expected better quality lounge furniture for the price I paid. Light above bed , right hand side. Faulty. The concierge had to go back home 3 times for paper work. He said he saw it there and had to go home each time I didn't like him being inside when after we returned from lunch
Was a different place to stay and something to remember
10.0The location was wonderful. The fire truck was a great thing to add to all the history and stories that you could read about the station.

7.0Unique And very interesting and had lots of history and character The bed were very comfortable and spa bath was a lovely experience.
− The Ginger Bread Cookie Left On The Table Would Have Been Really Nice If They Were Cover Up But Unfortunately Had A Petrol Taste I Am Assuming Absorbed From The Fumes From The Fire Truck Next To Table . The Airconditioner We Just Want A Fan For Air Flow As They Are No Window And Door To Be Open For Fresh Air And Ventilation. The Airconditioner Had A Lock On It And Couldn't Unlocked To Change From Heat Settings.
Great place with old times feel in a historic side of town. Great terrasse for a drink or coffee. Great beds!
9.0Great beds with many pillows to choose from. I slept like at home. The terrasse apartment was beautiful and comfortable.
− A few things could do with updating, like the couches. Or just adding some nice cushions would be enough to make it more comfortable. The coffee available was a plunger bag, it was not very good. It would be nice to have some coffee available or an espresso machine or even a stove top percolator.
Unique but a little disappointing.
7.0Novelty of Fire Station Inn was good. Welcome tiny gingerbread men were appreciated when having coffee.
− we got a lot of noise from passing pedestrians and cars overnight and it is located next to a school so no hope of sleep in on weekdays. There was a dishwasher which was good but we wanted to handwash some of our own dishes and there was no plug for sink to be found anywhere in kitchen. Also the dishcloths that were provided were used which I didn't like. They may have been washed but a small new chux would have been appreciated.
Quaint but updates required
6.0The location was brilliant. The concept of using the historic structure was interesting.
− The fridge wasn’t working. The courtyard was dirty. It was a windy day but the debris from plants looked old. We were looking forward to the noise of the fountain in the courtyard but it didn’t work. There were suggestions to drop the awning at the entry of the courtyard for more privacy but one of the side tiedowns was broken & it was windy so it only kept flapping. The bed was comfortable but sitting on the bed moved it to the point that it was scooting across the floor. It is an old building which I love but the whole room just felt dated including the radio.
