Best Hotel in Lucca - Genuine Warmth and Kindness
10.0Palazzo Alexander was, without question, my absolute favorite hotel I have ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such genuine kindness and warmth. Out of every hotel, tour, and activity we experienced during our trip to Italy, the staff at Palazzo Alexander were the only ones who truly acknowledged our honeymoon and made us feel celebrated. They took the time to congratulate us, chat with us, and genuinely seemed interested in getting to know us. It never felt forced—it came from the heart. I can't say enough wonderful things about the staff. They were the friendliest people we encountered during our entire trip. They were incredibly helpful with recommendations and anything we needed, but more importantly, they made us feel like welcomed guests instead of just another reservation. When we checked out, they told us to come back and visit anytime—even if we weren't staying at the hotel. They said to stop by just to say hello, and that small gesture perfectly reflected the kind of people they are. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. It has so much character, charm, and authentic Italian style. Our room was gorgeous, with unique details and décor that made it feel special and unlike any other place we stayed. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and the perfect way to start each morning. If you're looking for a hotel that feels authentic, welcoming, and unforgettable, Palazzo Alexander is it. The incredible staff turned a wonderful hotel into one of the most memorable parts of our honeymoon, and we can't wait to return one day.
